ibis Styles Paris Gare De Lyon TGV

We were expecting the usual budget-style hotel: very basic and not overly comfortable but this was different. Yes, the rooms are small (to be expected in major cities) but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Although it's in a very busy area, we slept well. Everything was spotlessly clean. Being able to help yourself to hot drinks and fresh water 24/7 in the dining area was great. We found the staff exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The receptionists are multi- lingual. The breakfast was great thanks to the lovely lady managing it who kept it stocked and clean.There was a nice choice of fresh fruits, the usual meats and cheeses, eggs: boiled or scrambled and pastries or bread and a toaster. For the Brits, there was marmalade amongst the good choices of preserves. Instead of tea bags, you used a filter to make your own tea from a choice of about 8 high quality varieties. The only thing that was missing was margarine for the lactose intolerant, but that seems to be the case across Europe, no matter the hotel rating. Close to the Gare de Lyon (5 minutes) and the metro (2 minutes), the hotel is conveniently located. You can walk to the Seine and see the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame in the distance. We would definitely choose this chain of hotels if staying in Paris again. Highly recommended

Ideal location for station for onward journey to southern Europe. A short walk to the banks of the Seine and Notte Dame.The room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and we were able to access all hot and cold drinks throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and leaving our luggage safely with them whilst we awaited our onward train was a bonus. Highly recommended and we will be revisiting.

Location was great and very near gare de lyon train station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Croissant was delecious. All day free coffee and water. We come early than check in time but staff allow us to goin.

Really good small hotel, perfect for short stays 1 minute walk to Gare de Lyon TGV. Close to Verte Plantee walking trail. Well serviced by Metro and RER trains. Rooms are small but no problem as the hotel is more a short stay property. Reasonable breakfast, very friendly staff and reasonable value for money by Paris standards

I selected this hotel because of its proximity to the train station. It was just a quick walk. The room was small but had everything I needed and was exceptionally clean. I slept very well and breakfast the next morning was very nice. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stay there again when I’m in the area.
